Empathy & Insights
In this phase we uncover the insights behind the challenge or the context. This involves learning about the problem and the intended audience by developing empathy to uncover people’s wants and needs. It involves identifying the molecules that make up the target audience, getting under their skin and finding out what they value, what they want and how they look at the world.


Analysis & Reflection
This involves Processing and synthesizing the findings from the empathy work in order to form a user point of view that will be addressed with the design.

This stage could be thought of as a filter where the review, selection and discarding of ideas takes place. This is where findings from the Empathy stage are analyzed, defined and refined as problems, and ideas for solutions are initially identified.

Solutions & Prototypes
In this stage we Explore a wide variety of possible solutions through generating a large quantity of diverse possible solutions, allowing us to step beyond the obvious and explore a range of ideas.

Then we Transform the ideas into a physical/digital form so the beneficiaries can experience and interact with them and, in the process, learn and develop more empathy

Embedding & Launch
In this phase we develop the plan for embedding the solutions and prototypes we got from the previous phase or launching these new solutions depending on the nature of the execution.
